ThetaRay, a provider of AI-powered financial crime detection technology, has deployed its new generative AI financial crime detection suite through Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, expanding its anti-money laundering capabilities for financial institutions.
The suite includes a GenAI-driven risk catalogue and enhanced investigation center, allowing banks and fintechs to streamline compliance processes, automate suspicious activity reporting and monitor emerging AML risks through continuous learning from public data sources. ThetaRay, which serves clients including Santander, Travelex Bank and Payoneer, developed the tools amid increasing regulatory scrutiny of financial crime.
“Our technology has already established us as a leader in AI, and now with our newest risk catalogue solution, we’re empowering organizations to proactively manage risks, streamline compliance and make more informed decisions,” said Peter Reynolds, ThetaRay’s CEO.
