The Ethics and Compliance Initiative (ECI) is seeking candidates for its Ethics Academy scholarship program. Over the next three years, ECI will select 100 qualified applicants to participate, and those wishing to apply for 2022 have until March 15 to submit their applications.
ECI is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and its Ethics Academy was created to support a sustainable and vibrant profession by investing in the education of students interested in the ethics and compliance field and supporting the faculty members, researchers and other academics who foster the next generation of E&C practitioners.
Scholarships to the academy are sponsored by the Northrop Grumman Foundation and KPMG, and 100 candidates will be selected over the next three years — as many as 34 in 2022. The scholarships are geared to graduate students over the age of 21 in areas focusing on business law, ethics or compliance and faculty members, researchers or academics who teach or write ethics and compliance curriculum at post-secondary institutions. (Graduate student applicants must turn 21 by April 20, 2022.)
Scholarship benefits include:
- Two-year individual membership with ECI, which includes free access to research and webinars, discounts on ECI events, training and other services
- Participation in ECI’s Elevating Ethics and Compliance (E2C) Training course, which provides a deep-dive into the advanced-level material for leading, evaluating and sustaining a high-quality ethics and compliance program.
- Complimentary registration for IMPACT, ECI’s annual conference, to be conducted virtually April 19-21
- Access to all ECI 2022 virtual events, including best practice forums, ECI-hosted webinars and more
Winners will be announced March 25.
