Contract lifecycle management provider Agiloft has acquired Screens, developer of an AI-powered contract review and redlining platform. The acquisition aims to enhance contract standardization and streamline the review process by incorporating Screens’ community-supported playbook system into Agiloft’s platform.
The deal, terms of which were not disclosed, comes as legal teams face increasing pressure to accelerate contract reviews while maintaining compliance standards. Screens’ technology allows users to assess contracts against predefined standards using customizable playbooks, which can be created internally or accessed through a community of legal experts who share their expertise through published playbooks, Agiloft said in a news release.
“Legal teams are under constant pressure to move quickly while ensuring that contracts meet the highest standards,” said Screens founder Otto Hanson. “By joining Agiloft, we are accelerating the impact of our AI-driven contract review technology.”
