Customer experience software developer NICE has added Zoom recording capabilities to its next-generation NICE NTR-X solution, expanding communications integrations alongside others like Microsoft Teams, Cisco and others.
NICE’s NTR-X platform now allows compliance recording capture for multiple types of communication done via Zoom, including Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone, a feature-rich cloud phone solution. As part of the development process for the integration, NICE and Zoom worked together to create and use new APIs for financial markets compliance recording.
NICE and Zoom also worked closely together to develop this compatibility to enable regulated customers to address capture and assurance requirements, such as those outlined by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the Markets in Financial Instruments (MiFID II) Directive and other global regulations, NICE said in a news release.
“In the current environment, as firms accelerate their digital transformation, we’re seeing the adoption of multiple forms of unified communications grow rapidly, particularly in heavily regulated environments like financial services,” NICE Executive Vice President Chris Wooten said in the news release. “Our solution for Zoom continues to reinforce the fact that firms can put their trust in NICE and NTR-X for compliance recording coverage for all types of communications, from audio and video, to screen sharing and chat.”
NICE launched NTR-X in February 2021, and its features include built-in compliance assurance capabilities, data management lifecycle automation, upstream and downstream real-time alerts, automation of recording checks and user provisioning, transcription, bulk call extraction, system management and administration and more. NTR-X can be deployed as a cloud or on-premise solution.
Its new integration with Zoom expands the platform’s compatibility with popular office communication tools like Microsoft teams, IPC Unigy, Cisco and Cloud9 and consumer-friendly platforms like WhatsApp and WeChat.
