Keepit, a data protection provider, announced recently it received $40 million in refinancing from HSBC Innovation Banking in partnership with the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), which is expected to help Keepit continue its growth strategy.
Copenhagen-based Keepit, founded in 2017, provides cloud backup and workload protection services for customers using apps like Microsoft 365, Google and Salesforce. HSBC Innovation Banking includes the former Silicon Valley Bank UK, which HSBC acquired in 2023.
“This refinancing is a long-term commitment: It not only strengthens our capital structure but is an infusion of confidence in our capabilities on all levels,” Morten Felsvang, CEO and co-founder at Keepit, said in a news release. “And it means that we can continue our growth strategy at full throttle.”
