Davies, a professional services and technology firm serving insurance markets, acquired Premier Claims Management (PCM), a Santa Ana, California-based provider of professional and general liability claims services. The deal strengthens Davies’ North American capabilities for the Lloyd’s market, particularly in areas including environmental, crime, financial and cybersecurity claims. Financial terms were not disclosed.
PCM founder Marilyn Bonetati and more than 40 colleagues, including 16 coverage attorneys, will join Davies’ North American claims operations under claims solutions CEO Don Lederer. The acquisition expands Davies’ claims handling capabilities across all 50 U.S. states and parts of Canada.
The deal marks Davies’ latest expansion in North America, where it serves more than 1,700 insurance and financial services clients.
