Keepit, a Copenhagen-based cloud data protection provider, secured $50 million in equity funding from One Peak and the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO). The investment brings the company’s total funding to $90 million over the past four years.
The cloud-native data protection company will use the funds to expand its market presence in the U.S. and Europe while advancing its product development. The company’s platform provides vendor-independent infrastructure for SaaS data protection through separate, immutable data storage.
As part of its expansion plans, Keepit will focus on broadening its workload coverage and enhancing data management capabilities for enterprise customers, while strengthening its network of partners across key markets, the company said in a news release.
