Cybersecurity firm c/side has launched a compliance dashboard to help businesses meet upcoming Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirements for managing third-party website scripts. The platform addresses new mandates that take effect March 31, 2025, requiring organizations to monitor and secure browser-side scripts that handle payment data.
The San Francisco-based startup, which specializes in browser-side security, said its dashboard automates script monitoring and generates weekly compliance reports. The tool aims to help companies avoid penalties for non-compliance, which can include monthly fines up to six figures and suspension of card processing capabilities.
“The regulations have tightened and become more prescriptive — and specific cybersecurity capabilities are critical to ensure compliance and avoid an auditing disaster,” said Simon Wijckmans, founder and CEO. “c/side’s ability to track and verify third-party web script behavior maps to exactly what these new mandates are looking for.”
