Avetta has launched Avetta University, a learning platform integrated into its Avetta One supply chain risk management software, the Utah-based company said in a news release.
The platform provides suppliers and contractors with health and safety e-training courses that hiring clients can select and require workers to complete before beginning work. Suppliers and contractors can also self-enroll in courses. The course library includes content from third-party providers and micro-learning modules developed by Avetta’s instructional design team and subject matter experts, covering topics like chemical, electrical and mechanical safety, environmental awareness, emergency action planning, first aid and working at heights.
“With Avetta University, we’re making it seamless to improve health and safety performance across entire supply chains with training that’s as easy to deploy and participate in as it is essential,” Abid Yousuf, chief customer officer at Avetta, said in the news release.
