ThetaRay has appointed Brad Levy as CEO, with current chief executive Peter Reynolds stepping down due to family reasons, the financial crime compliance software company said.
Levy most recently served as CEO of Symphony, a financial markets infrastructure and technology platform established by a consortium of global banks. He previously was a partner and senior executive at IHS Markit, including as CEO of MarkitSERV, and spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, where he served as managing director and global head of the firm’s Principal Strategic Investments Group. Reynolds, Theta Ray’s CEO since June 2023, will move into to an advisory position and remain involved during a transition period. ThetaRay, which has offices in New York, London and Tel Aviv, provides AI-powered transaction monitoring and due diligence software to financial institutions.
“The industry is reaching a tipping point, where AI is no longer optional but foundational,” Levy said in a news release. “My focus is on scaling this platform globally, deepening our partnerships with financial institutions and embedding compliance as a strategic capability that drives sustainable growth.”
