Digital identity verification company Socure has launched age assurance solutions that integrate with its RiskOS platform to help businesses meet age verification requirements across different jurisdictions. The no-code workflows allow companies to customize age verification processes for industries like gaming, alcohol delivery, adult content, online dating and social media.
The solution offers passive age verification using device intelligence and behavioral biometrics, document-based identity verification with biometric validation and selfie-based age estimation for visual confirmation. The drag-and-drop tools enable businesses to tailor verification flows based on geography and regulatory requirements without developer intervention.
“As age verification regulations become more fragmented and fast-moving across states and countries, businesses are under immense pressure to stay compliant while also delivering seamless digital experiences,” Johnny Ayers, CEO and founder of Socure, said in a news release. The launch follows recent regulatory developments including the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Texas’ age verification law for adult websites and new UK restrictions under the Online Safety Act.
