Montreal-based Nimonik, a provider of software for regulatory and industry standards compliance management, announced it acquired LegiNation, owner of BillTrack50, a legislative bill and emerging regulation tracker. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
LegiNation will continue to operate as an independent business entity, a news release from Nimonik said. Karen Suhaka, creator of BillTrack50, will continue in her role as president.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome LegiNation and the BillTrack50 team to the Nimonik family,” Nimonik CEO and co-founder Jonathan Brun said in the news release. “Our organizations have worked side-by-side for over 10 years, and this partnership is a natural evolution of that shared history. By integrating BillTrack50’s comprehensive US legislative tracking with Nimonik’s global compliance platform, we are delivering unparalleled value to our customers, making it easier for them to anticipate and manage regulatory change.”
