Insuretech provider myCOI has launched illumend, an AI-powered platform designed to manage third-party insurance compliance and certificate of insurance processing.
The new platform aims to provide real-time compliance feedback, document upload capabilities and automated extraction of insurance requirements from contracts. The system includes both AI technology and human insurance specialists to verify compliance requirements.
“Our vision with illumend was simple: compliance should feel empowering, not overwhelming,” CEO Kristen Nunery said in a news release. “We built illumend to meet people where they are—whether they’re risk managers, admins, property teams, or anyone who needs to ‘just get it done right’ without becoming an insurance expert.”
The platform was developed in partnership with creative technology agency Left Field Labs. myCOI reports having managed insurance compliance for over 1 million contracts and 200,000 third parties during its 15 years in business.
