A business resilience platform called Axiom GRC has launched in the UK, backed by £500 million private equity investment from European firm Inflexion.
The GRC platform was formed following Inflexion’s £430 million acquisition of Marlowe PLC’s risk software and services division in 2024. The venture is led by Alex Dacre, who exited his position as founder of Marlowe to create Axiom GRC.
“The burden of responsibility on businesses is greater now than it has ever been,” Dacre said in a news release. “We recognized the clear opportunity for a market-leading, full-service GRC platform and this attracted strong private equity backing.”
Axiom GRC comprises eight companies offering services in areas including employment law, health and safety, cybersecurity, ISO certification and compliance e-learning. The platform launches with over 50 compliance products, 40,000 clients and 2 million users, with plans for international expansion focused on North America and the Middle East.
