HaystackID has acquired eDiscovery AI, a provider of AI legal technology, the Chicago-based legal and compliance services company said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
eDiscovery AI’s technology has been integrated into HaystackID’s AI offerings with workflows designed for legal teams managing litigation, internal investigations, compliance, regulatory response and cybersecurity matters. HaystackID will continue to serve existing eDiscovery AI clients through a separate business entity while also offering integrated eDiscovery AI capabilities for clients working directly with HaystackID. Jim Sullivan will remain CEO of eDiscovery AI.
“Our clients are asking for easy-to-deploy (generative AI) capabilities that deliver deep insights, defensible results and adaptability to changing use cases,” HaystackID CEO Chad Pinson said in a news release. “With this strategic acquisition, we are a first mover in the market and are able to uniquely address this critical demand in a wide breadth of areas.”
