MirrorWeb has released a mobile communications archiving application designed to separate personal and business messages for regulatory compliance, the compliance provider announced. The app, Trusted Contacts, allows users to designate contacts as either business or personal.
The application works with messaging platforms like iMessage, WhatsApp and Android SMS, MirrorWeb said. It enables employees to use their existing phone numbers and messaging apps while ensuring only work-related conversations are archived for compliance purposes.
“We’re redefining how businesses balance compliance and privacy,” said Jamie Hoyle, VP of product at MirrorWeb. “Unlike other solutions that either over-collect or force employees into separate apps, our intelligent filtering ensures only business-relevant messages are captured, while personal conversations stay private.”
