LogicGate has named president and chief operating officer Diego Panama as CEO, effective July 2026, with co-founder Matt Kunkel transitioning to executive chairman, the Chicago-based GRC software company said.
Panama joined LogicGate in May 2025, bringing more than two decades of enterprise B2B experience. As CEO, he will focus on growing LogicGate’s position in the enterprise GRC market, the company said. Kunkel, who co-founded LogicGate in 2016 with Jon Siegler and Dan Campbell, will focus on capital strategy, strategic partnerships and identifying new opportunities as executive chairman. He will remain on the board of directors, and Panama will join the board as part of his new role.
As part of the leadership transition, Siegler will become chief product and technology officer, combining responsibility for engineering, information security and product. Campbell will continue to serve as chief architect. The leadership changes follow a year of record growth for the company.
“LogicGate’s future will be defined by significant scale and AI-defining innovation, and I’m thrilled to watch Diego push the boundaries of what the Risk Cloud platform can deliver for our customers and partners,” Kunkel said in a news release.
