FlexTecs has launched AP Inbox Assist, a module that uses AI to automate accounts payable inbox management, the company said.
The tool ingests messages from AP inboxes and uses AI to classify, route and draft responses using live ERP data. AP Inbox Assist detects invoices and assigns them to payment workflows, identifies supplier statements and routes them to reconciliation processes, drafts replies to payment status requests for AP review, flags suspicious requests such as bank account changes and provides dashboards with SLA tracking. The module is part of FlexTecs’ FlexTrap platform, which the Atlanta-based recovery audit and contract compliance firm expanded earlier this year with a statement reconciliation feature.
“By embedding inbox automation into the FlexTrap payment accuracy platform, we ensure every invoice, statement and inquiry is handled with the same rigor and financial control that FlexTrap is known for,” FlexTecs CEO Tom Cook said in a news release.
