Business ethics think-tank Ethisphere has launched a new product that aims to enable ethics and compliance leaders to efficiently benchmark their companies’ practices against those of peers and other firms.
The Sphere features data included in Ethisphere’s proprietary “Ethics Quotient,” the assessment tool Ethisphere uses to produce its annual list of the world’s most ethical companies, Ethisphere said in a news release.
“Since launching the ‘World’s Most Ethical Companies’ recognition, we have had thousands of requests for access to data highlighting the practices of top companies. That opportunity has arrived,” Ethisphere President Erica Salmon Byrne said in the news release. “Investors, boards and senior leadership are demanding insights into how programs compare, how to align with guidance, and the best path to improvement. The Sphere answers those questions — on demand and at any time.”
Ethisphere’s 2022 most ethical companies list was based on more than 200 data points, including culture, environmental and social practices, ethics and compliance activities, governance, diversity, equity and inclusion, and activities supporting a strong value chain.
Subscribers have two options for comparing their firm’s practices against others — benchmarking against the entire data set across all topic areas or focusing on core ethics and compliance practices.
