EQS Group acquired OneTrust’s ethics and compliance business division and Berlin-based sustainability software firm Daato Technologies, the Munich-based cloud software provider announced. The dual acquisitions expand EQS Group’s global footprint, particularly in the U.S. market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The OneTrust acquisition includes Convercent by OneTrust, a platform serving more than 1,000 enterprise customers worldwide with tools for whistleblowing, ethics policy management and compliance learning. The Daato deal brings expertise in ESG management and reporting solutions, specifically around EU regulations like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. EQS Group will retain all employees from both acquired companies.
