Climate X will embed Fathom’s global flood model within its Spectra and Adapt climate resilience platforms, the London-based climate analytics company said.
The integration will add flood event simulations to Climate X’s existing models, which cover 12 physical climate hazards, including extreme heat, tropical cyclones, landslides and wildfires. Climate X translates physical risk data into operational expense, capital expense and revenue insights at asset and corporate entity levels. The integrated flood risk models will be available to Climate X clients in early 2026.
“By combining Fathom’s independently validated flood data with Climate X’s cutting-edge climate risk analytics, we’re equipping the industry to access more precise, science-based insights that will help asset owners adapt and invest with confidence,” Karena Vaughan, chief sales officer and head of ESG and climate risk at Fathom, said in a news release.
