BDO’s newly released 2024 global risk report found that 84% of business leaders say the global risk landscape is now more defined by crisis than at any time in recent memory.
The report, which surveyed global risk professionals on the key threats facing businesses, uncovered a surprising finding: Businesses that expose themselves to risks are becoming antifragile, allowing them to thrive in a time of disruption and even gain a competitive advantage.
A few key findings:
- Why 60% of business leaders believe risk velocity is increasing and how they are adjusting their organizations to keep up with the pace
- 58% say employees should be rewarded for taking calculated, well-founded risks, even if they don’t pay off
- 88% of those not already using AI for risk management are considering it.
