Finserv compliance providers SteelEye and FundApps, whose merger was formalized in September, are launching a combined firm with plans to build a unified platform for regulatory intelligence, they announced.
The new company, RegSensus, is headquartered in London and has operations in India, Portugal, Singapore and the US. Existing products, services and client support will remain unchanged, a spokesman told CCI, and the FundApps and SteelEye names will move to the new RegSensus brand in phases, though they did not specify when that would occur.
Frederic Ceyte, FundApps’ CEO since March, was named chief executive of RegSensus. Matt Smith, SteelEye’s CEO, will become chief corporate development officer at RegSensus, and the company spokesman said no other staffing announcements would be shared now.
