Automation software company UiPath has acquired WorkFusion, a provider of AI agents for financial crime compliance. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
WorkFusion’s AI agents automate customer screening, investigations and other aspects of AML laundering and KYC operations. The acquisition expands UiPath’s portfolio of AI-powered solutions for financial services and banking industries. UiPath is a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The transaction closed in UiPath’s first quarter of fiscal 2027.
“Incorporating WorkFusion’s purpose-built AI agents for financial crime compliance into our platform expands our portfolio of agentic AI solutions for these industries, extending our ability to deliver comprehensive business orchestration and automation solutions to our customers,” UiPath CEO Daniel Dines said in a news release.
