Tosin Umukoro is compliance officer at Stryker, where she is responsible for leadership and oversight of the company’s compliance program in the U.K. and Ireland. Tosin has over 15 years of experience in the medical technology industry and currently serves as the vice chair of the legal and compliance committee of the Association of British Healthcare Industries. Prior to her current role, Tosin held a variety of roles within Stryker, including clinical research manager and clinical operations manager for Stryker’s European operations, and she continues to act as subject-matter expert for compliance issues related to clinical research and research and development in Europe. Tosin holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Manchester, as well as a master’s in clinical research from Cranfield University. Tosin is a Certified Ethics and Compliance Professional (Society of Corporate and Compliance Ethics) and has a certificate in healthcare compliance ethics & regulation (Science Po/Seton Hall).
