Tobias Häckermann is the CEO and founder of Sherpany, a software company and a major player on the board portal market, in Switzerland and across Europe.

An expert on good corporate governance, entrepreneurship, startups management, strategic consulting, software development and digitalization, Tobias has spent the last 10 years of his career accelerating the potential of digital leadership, promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and digitization at the corporate level. In 2014, he was nominated among the finalists at the Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year.”

His dedication and passion for technology, made him co-­found Sherpany. Its purpose is to increase board of directors’ access and engagement to and with technology to boost decision-making in a more efficient way. This brought him closer to decision-­makers and top companies like Adecco, Nestlé, Novartis, and SwissRe Zurich Insurance Group, which granted him valuable opportunities to assimilate insights into the corporate behavior.

Since 2007, he has gained experience as a professional board member, joining the wave of young executives with a digital expertise. He holds a Masters of Law (LLM) in International Business, Trade and Tax Law from the University of Zürich, Switzerland and a Bachelors of Law (LL.B.), Internationales Geschäfts­, Handels­ und Steuerrecht from the Università degli Studi di Siena, Italy.
