Clark, an AI company that builds autonomous agents to perform audit work for CPA firms, announced an $11 million seed round led by Touring Capital, bringing total funding to $16 million.
Founded in October 2024 as uiAgent and rebranded to Clark in July 2026 as part of a positioning shift toward audit, the New York-based company said it will use the funds to expand its senior team across product, engineering and sales, bring its product to more firms and engagement types and help CPA firms extend audit services into government work.
“For as long as people have kept accounts, someone has had to check them. Today that checking happens once a year, long after the decisions it was meant to inform,” Enes Witwit, Clark founder and CEO, said in a statement. “We are building toward fully autonomous audit employees, and toward an economy whose claims are verified as they happen.”
