Ideagen has acquired aviation compliance specialist Casper and chemical management software provider SafetyStratus in separate transactions, the UK-based software company said. The acquisitions add environmental monitoring for aviation and specialized chemical management capabilities to Ideagen’s environmental, health and safety portfolio.
Casper, headquartered in the Netherlands and founded in 2010, provides data analytics tools that monitor the impact of airline movements on the environment. The company, considered a pioneer in advanced environmental monitoring for the aviation sector, serves 60 of the world’s busiest airports in 15 countries across four continents. SafetyStratus, based in Plano, Texas and founded in 2011, offers chemical management, chemical inventory, radiation, hazardous waste and biosafety modules and serves over 500,000 users across more than 10,000 locations worldwide, including university labs, commercial laboratories and large enterprises.
Ideagen will integrate both platforms into its existing portfolio. The company will offer Casper’s technology to strengthen its EHS offerings for aviation customers with targeted solutions for environmental compliance and risk management, while SafetyStratus’ chemical management solutions will be offered as Ideagen Chemical Management, adding advanced chemical management capabilities to serve customers in life sciences, healthcare, energy and manufacturing.
