Mumbai-based consulting firm Uniqus Consultech has launched an AI consulting practice designed to help organizations deploy artificial intelligence in finance, risk and sustainability functions. The practice, called AI UniVerse, combines the company’s domain expertise with technical AI capabilities and partnerships with AI-focused companies.
The consulting practice addresses common AI deployment challenges like data complexity, infrastructure limitations and governance gaps that prevent organizations from achieving return on investment from AI initiatives, the company said in a news release. Uniqus raised $20 million in Series C funding earlier this year primarily for research and development investments in the AI consulting practice.
“With AI UniVerse, we are bridging the gap between AI’s promise and practical outcomes. This gap is particularly wide in the finance and risk functions,” Jamil Khatri, co-founder and CEO of Uniqus, said in the news release.
