Richard Carmody and John Woods
Richard Carmody is counsel in the Birmingham office of Adams & Reese. He has practiced for close to 50 years in commercial restructuring and bankruptcy. He was the first lawyer in Alabama certified as a specialist in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification and is an American College of Bankruptcy Fellow recognized as the ABI’s Outstanding Committee Member of the Year.
John Woods is a member of the Adams & Reese litigation practice group and a former infantry officer in the U.S. Army National Guard. Practicing in the firm’s Memphis office, he represents corporate clients in commercial litigation, business disputes, and insurance defense litigation that encompasses professional liability claims, mostly in healthcare and real estate.
