Peter ViksninsPeter Viksnins is a managing director within Grant Thornton LLP‘s Forensic, Investigative and Dispute Services practice, based in the firm’s McLean, Va., office. Viksnins has nearly 20 years of experience winning, leading and performing complex forensic accounting, anti-corruption and fraud investigative engagements. In addition to his extensive international experience in more than 30 countries, Viksnins has worked on numerous landmark corruption cases, including one of the largest forensic accounting investigations in history, as well many high-profile cases related to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University, teaching a master’s level course in fraud examination and forensic accounting.
