Nelson Rand is Co-Founder and Director of Investigations at Access Asia Consulting Company, a boutique risk management firm specializing in corporate investigations, due diligence and security-related services across Southeast Asia and China. Prior to establishing Access Asia in 2011, he worked as a journalist and political risk consultant covering Southeast Asia. He has a Master’s Degree in Asia-Pacific Policy Studies from the University of British Columbia and is the author of the book Conflict: Journeys through war and terror in Southeast Asia.
