Amber Sutherland
Amber Sutherland has spent her career in financial services and technology. She is now Director, EMEA for Pelican.ai, an AI-based payments and compliance provider to the financial services sectors. Amber is focused on helping firms use technology to find efficiencies in their processes, and prevent more financial crime.
Prior to her role at Pelican.ai, she worked in senior roles at leading global regulatory technology firms to create and execute their go-to-market strategies for Europe. She previously worked in corporate banking at HSBC Canada, before, during and after it was operating under its deferred prosecution agreement. She experienced firsthand its financial crime transformation. She then spent time at a world-leading financial technology firm where she held a senior role in delivering financial regulation and compliance solutions.
