Genevieve Patenaude
Genevieve Patenaude, Ph.D., is CEO and co-founder of Earth Blox, a spatial data software that enables users to assemble unique environmental insights for one to one million asset locations in minutes. Previously as an associate professor at the school of geosciences at the University of Edinburgh, Genevieve led multiple international research projects on the exploitation of earth observation and big data to solve global challenges. Her work was published widely, including in Nature, and she was a contributing author to the “Good Practice Guidance for Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.” Equipped with this experience, her mission is to enable positive action for the future of life on our shared planet through Earth Blox.
