Chuck Pine

Charles (Chuck) Pine is a Partner in BDO‘s Regulatory Enforcement practice. Chuck has nearly 32 years of financial investigative and law enforcement experience dealing with complex and high profile criminal investigations involving money laundering, tax evasion, international and domestic bank-related crimes, mortgage fraud and other criminal activity where there is a financial nexus or motive.​

He has conducted AML/BSA/OFAC compliance assessments and examinations and developed AML/BSA/OFAC compliance programs for financial institutions and designated non-bank financial institutions, including casinos and loan services providers. He has provided expert witness testimony on matters involving criminal tax, money laundering and complex financial fraud.​

Chuck has particular experience in international flows of money, the use of offshore financial institutions to facilitate tax evasion in the U.S., the U.S. Program for Swiss Banks and matters relating to the U.S. Voluntary Disclosure Program as it relates to reporting foreign bank accounts.
