Aaron Carlson

Carlson is Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary with Noble Energy.  He joined Noble Energy in April 2003 after spending seven years in private practice.  Aaron has held several positions as an attorney with Noble Energy but currently heads the Legal Department’s Domestic Operations Section.  He focuses his practice on Noble’s domestic exploration and production operations, merger and acquisitions, litigation management, securities and corporate governance.  He earned his juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.  Aaron participates in various professional organizations.  He currently serves as Chair of the State Bar of Texas Corporate Counsel Section and formerly served as a Council Member of the State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section.  He has authored and presented numerous articles relating to securities law, corporate governance and the oil and gas industry.
