Smarsh has just launched its 6th Annual Compliance Survey of compliance professionals in the financial services industry. The survey aims to gain insights on trends and best practices in the retention and oversight of electronic communications, including email, social media, instant messages and SMS/text messages.
From the findings, Smarsh expects to see key indicators on the developing role, responsibilities and challenges of compliance executives in meeting electronic recordkeeping, supervision and data protection obligations of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other global regulators.
The Survey is currently open to compliance professionals in the financial services sector. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, and all answers remain anonymous and are analyzed in aggregate. For each qualified registrant, Smarsh will make a charitable contribution. The survey findings will be released in May 2016 by Smarsh, a provider of hosted archiving solutions for compliance and e-discovery.
