New York, NY (August 25, 2015) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) has released a new version of its free, first-of-its-kind Wage & Hour Guide for Employers app, available for Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices. This significant update expands the app’s offerings to include all 50 states and Puerto Rico, building from the app’s initial coverage of 10 states, federal law and the District of Columbia.
“Our latest version of the app makes nationwide wage-hour information available in seconds on a variety of platforms,” said Michael Kun, who leads EBG’s national Wage and Hour group and was a co-creator of the app. “At a time when wage-hour litigation and agency investigations are at an all-time high, this app offers an invaluable resource for employers, human resources personnel and in-house counsel.”
Key features of the updated app include:
- New summaries of wage and hour laws and regulations are included, including 53 jurisdictions (federal, all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico)
- Available without charge for iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry devices
- Direct feeds of EBG’s Wage & Hour Defense Blog and @ebglaw on Twitter
- Easy sharing of content via email and social media
- Rich media library of publications from EBG’s Wage and Hour practice
- Expanded directory of EBG’s Wage and Hour attorneys
The app’s content was prepared by attorneys from EBG’s Wage and Hour practice group, including Julie Badel, Linda Celauro, Carol Faherty, Daniel Green, Barry Guryan, Nancy Gunzenhauser, Michael Kun, Jeffrey Landes, George Macchia, Jennifer Nutter, Greta Ravitsky, Jeffrey Ruzal, Dean Singewald, Peter Stein, Brian Steinbach, Peter Steinmeyer, Kevin Sullivan and Michael Thompson.
First released in February 2012, the Wage & Hour Guide for Employers app has served as a mobile reference tool for thousands of users. Many professionals depend on mobile devices to access information at work. Rather than plodding through search engine results or government websites on a mobile device, users can quickly navigate through the app’s directory of regulations for each jurisdiction. Now, with all 50 states and Puerto Rico included, in addition to federal laws and the District of Columbia, human resources professionals and corporate counsel can quickly answer important wage and hour questions in minutes.
