Satyam and GE Continue Partnership

Satyam was recently embroiled in one of the nastiest corporate governance scandals in the world’s history when founder Ramalinga Raju faced charges of criminal conspiracy and falsification of records, among other accusations.

Despite the company’s problems, however, it has maintained some of the its most pivotal business relationships.

GE has re-upped up for the next three years with the newly named Mahindra Satyam (the company was taken over by Tech Mahindra). GE has been one of Satyam’s top five customers over the past decade, desiring Satyam’s expertise in application development maintenance, business intelligence, and engineering services.

It is a clear signal that despite the hit to Satyam’s bank account and executive team, their reputation for delivering quality work sustains.
