Greg Deaver Named Chief Compliance Officer at Newbridge Securities Corporation
Mr. Gregory A. Deaver has been named Chief Compliance Officer at Newbridge Securities Corporation in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the company announced today. Deaver joined the company last month in a non-supervisory capacity and will be working with the current compliance staff over the next month to ensure an orderly transition.
Greg Deaver comes to Newbridge from his previous post as Senior Principal Consultant for the broker-dealer compliance division of a nationally-recognized consulting firm.
In a press release announcing Greg Deaver as Chief Compliance Officer at Newbridge Securities Corporation, the President of Newbridge, Guy S. Amico, said:

Deaver is quoted in the release as saying that he performed his “due diligence” on the firm before agreeing to sign on as Chief Compliance Officer and that Newbridge is “committed to a strong culture of compliance.”
Greg Deaver has previously worked as a supervisor of examiners in the Boca Raton office of FINRA, and also serves as a sales practice examiner for the NYSE. Deaver is a “Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.”
